or too old or timid for kennels or cattery.
We can also administer medication
and follow special diets or food regimes.
We have the experience to deal with
nervous animals that require a lot of understanding and patience.
How We Operate
With new clients, before we start looking after your pets and property,
we arrange a personal visit to discuss your requirements in detail.
This not only enables you to meet us, but for us to meet
you and your pets, and to find out
exactly what you would like us to do in your absence.
Sitters bring their own food and bed linen
so you don’t need to concern yourself about any preparation.
They look after your home and pets to your instructions,
take care of your indoor plants,
and water outside gardens if necessary.
You come back to happy animals, and your home as you left it.
Our Team
The Pet au Pair team are only as good as the sitters,
so we take great care in recruitment.
In order to ensure that sitters are competent, totally trustworthy,
reliable and, of course, animal lovers,
we interview potential pet minders in their own homes
and take up two independent character references for each.
Most are early-retired homeowners.
All are active people with experience of pets and indeed of home care.

Vets agree, home sitting is the preferred way of caring.
By maintaining routines and environment,
it is safer and less stressful for the pets as well as the owners.
